I obtained the Master and PhD in computer science, respectively from Grenoble University and Claude Bernard University in 1990 and 1993, the engineering degree in 1989 from National Institute of computer Science (INI, ex. CERI, and now ESI). Lecturer / assistant professor at Polytechnic School of Nantes University 1994 - 2003, and since 2003, professor in computer science at Lille University. I founded in 2011 and managed the start-up anaxa-vida from 2011 to 2016, in the context of scientific research valorization. My teaching activities include units, such as initiation to innovation and research, algorithm, object programming, web technologies, data mining and computer vision. My research areas concern high energy efficient learning, with bio-inspired approach, for computer vision. They concern also dynamic pattern recognition. I have an important activity in scientific animation, dissemination and mediation. I regularely evaluate research projects, as a scientific expert, for Europe, the French National Research Agency (ANR), the French National Association for Research and Technology (ANRT), French regions and universities in the world.
