"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." - Eleanor Roosevelt
am a PhD student at the SCALab UMR9193 laboratory at the University of Lille, under the supervision of Professor Yvonne Delevoye-Turrell , in collaboration with the regional start-up Seenel Imaging. My thesis, funded by the Hauts-de-France region, the University of Lille, and Seenel Imaging, focuses on the development of brain imaging techniques to model the effect of scented environments on affect and attentional focus in various effort contexts.
Passionate about affective sciences and cognitive psychology, I explore the role of odors in human perception and their potential to modulate attention and emotional states. I use cutting-edge technologies such as fNIRS and EEG to analyze cerebral and psychophysiological responses in ecological contexts, recreating olfactory environments similar to those encountered in everyday life.
Alongside my research, I am committed to teaching cognitive and affective sciences and actively participate in projects aimed at making research accessible to the public, particularly as a presenter at Xperium. My academic journey, enriched by international collaborations, reflects my dedication to innovation and scientific excellence.
Driven by a desire to share my fascination for odors, I am also pursuing an entrepreneurial venture by creating handcrafted scented candles, combining my passion for olfaction with a creative approach.
