PhD thesis: Attentional bias modification training and biofeedback in anorexia nervosa
Thesis summary
My PhD thesis focuses on the development of two interventions for the care of anorexia nervosa, usable at home by patients themselves.
First, an attentional bias modification training will be developped in order to reduce patients' bias away from food, which contributes to the disorder's maintenance.
The aim of my thesis' second axis will be to conduct biofeedback sessions with patients suffering from anorexia nervosa, which should reduce physiological alterations as well as improve interoceptive awareness.
Both of these interventions will be developped with the goal to make them usable at home by patients themselves, therefore allowing for complementary care interventions without lengthening their stay at a hospital.
