The MemoMines blog presents the scientific issues and the main results of the MemoMines project whose goal is to facilitate the preservation of an endangered cultural heritage in the North of France, the coal-mining industry.
The blog is also a window on the current events concerning the preservation of the coal-mining heritage in this territory. The posts echo the activities of the many associations of former miners, families of former miners, collectors and enthusiasts who keep the culture of the mine alive.
