Research focus
My research focuses on three main areas:
- the study of factors associated with the adjustment of patients and relatives, especially partners, to cancer (e.g., dyadic coping, quality of life, shared decision-making);
- the evaluation of interventions for patients and relatives;
- the identification of health prevention strategies to improve population's adherence to cancer screening and knowledge of cancer risk factors.
Quantitative and qualitative methods (individual, dyadic or group interviews) are used.
