Youness Karrout

Dr. Youness KARROUT is Associate Professor in Pharmaceutics, Biopharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology at the College of Pharmacy in Lille, France. He received his Pharmacist “diploma” and Ph.D. from the Freie Universitaet Berlin in Germany. He worked as a pharmacist in medical center (microbiology), retail pharmacy as well as in the Pharmaceutical Industry (Control quality and manufacturing) in Germany. He was visiting scientist at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, USA. He obtained his pharmaceutical postdoctoral lecture qualification “Habilitation” from the University of Lille. He has more than twelve years of experience in the field of advanced drug delivery systems, in particular “Colon Targeting”. He received numerous awards for his research from the University of Lille and College doctoral in North of France. He has published numerous research papers and patents on “Colon Targeting”. Dr. Karrout has been an invited speaker at international meetings and symposia.
