Associate Professor (PhD, HDR) in Psychology and Justice - PhD in Psychology (experimental social psychology), PhD in Criminology
Associate professor in Psychology and Justice at the University of Lille since 2018, after an interdisciplinary (psychology, criminology, cognitive science, psychiatry and behavioral neurosciences) as well as an international (France, Canada, USA) training and early career.
Developed at the intersection of psychology and criminology, my research program focuses primarily on sexual violence and violent behaviors. Framed within a use-inspired basic research perspective, the overarching aim is to reduce interpersonal violence. The first axis deals with experimental and cross-sectional research to examine the role of knowledge structures as well as situational, cognitive, and emotional factors in the expression and regulation of such behaviors. The second axis deals with the development, implementation, evaluation, and dissemination of psychological interventions. Specifically, interventional studies and evaluative research are developed to support evidence-based practices to prevent sexual violence and violent behaviors, in both the general and offending populations.
