In 2021, LASIRE acquired a mobile laboratory to carry out real-time analyses of water quality parameters. A hydraulic circuit supplies this laboratory with water pumped from the river. A Manta+35 multi-parameter probe (Euréka), a filtering sampler, a refrigerated sampler, ammonium and phosphate Icon analyser (Metrohm), an algae analyser (AOA, bbe) and an ATMS (trace metal analyser) are currently operational. Further equipment will be installed in the near future. The data is transmitted directly to the laboratory, and an algorithm automatically triggers a water sample collection based on the values measured by the multi-parameter probe.
