Research Activities
My research focuses on the design of metaheuristics using automatic configuration and landscape analysis both in single and multi-objective combinatorial optimization. Metaheuristics are efficient algorithms that need to be finely tuned. My work aims at making "intelligent" the design of these metaheuristics and particularly, the local search algorithms, by automating the setting of the strategies and the numerical parameters in order to design autonomous metaheuristics able to adapt instantly to the local problem structure.
