Abstract: Exposure to long-lasting and repeated traumatic events can lead to a Complex Post-traumatic Stress Disorder. However, the CPTSD symptoms variability and its similarities with other disorders make the CPTSD identification and recognition difficult. The main objective of this thesis project is to provide a better understanding of CPTSD by validating specific psychometric scales in the French population (ITQ, SIDES-SR), assessing the symptomatic features of CPTSD in traumatized populations, and identifying specific symptomatic clusters associated to personality disorders and dissociative disorders.
